This repeater offers coverage similar to that of the 145.340 MHz machine. It has an aircraft emergency locator transmitter (ELT) receiver attached that alerts listeners of potentially downed aircraft in the area. .875 is available for general use at all times, although contacts should be kept brief when the repeater is retransmitting an ELT signal.
